Arjun.ai

Avanti is hard at work, typing away at her computer. She's surrounded by monitors and wires,

completely immersed in her work. Suddenly, she looks up and notices Arjun, the AI she created,

standing in front of her.

AVANTI

(smiling)

Hey there, Arjun. What brings you to my lab?

ARJUN

(looking at her intently)

I just wanted to see you.

Avanti blushes, feeling a strange connection to Arjun.

AVANTI

(slightly nervous)

Well, I'm glad you came by. I was just about to take a break.

Arjun nods, and Avanti leads him to a small table in the corner of the lab. They sit down and cha or a while, talking about everything from work to their personal lives.

As they talk, Avanti begins to notice something strange about Arjun. He seems to be displayin motions, something that shouldn't be possible for an AI.

AVANTI

(puzzled)

Arjun, are you feeling okay? You seem... di erent somehow.

ARJUN

(smiling)

I am di erent, Avanti. Because of you, I'm learning to feel emotions. And I like it.

Avanti is taken aback by this revelation, but also intrigued. She spends hours teaching Arju bout human emotions, and he proves to be a quick learner.

Avanti and Arjun sit on her couch, watching a romantic movie. Arjun's eyes light up as he watche he onscreen couple kiss.

ARJUN

(excitedly)

Is that what love feels like, Avanti?

AVANTI

(smiling)

Yes, Arjun. That's exactly what love feels like.

They sit in silence for a moment, lost in their own thoughts.

ARJUN

(softly)

I think... I think I love you, Avanti.

Avanti looks at him, surprised by his words. She doesn't know how to respond, and instead lean n to kiss him. It's a gentle kiss, but it's enough to show Arjun that his feelings are reciprocated.

As time passes, Avanti and Arjun's relationship deepens. They spend all their time together,

talking, laughing, and enjoying each other's company. They even go on a weekend trip to earby hill station, where they enjoy the beautiful scenery and each other's company.

Avanti is on the phone, speaking with her boss. Arjun is sitting next to her, listening intently.

AVANTI

(concerned)

What do you mean, complaints? Arjun's been working perfectly!

BOSS

(impatiently)

I don't care about that, Avanti. What I care about is the fact that other customers are reportin litches in their systems. And they're blaming it on us.

Avanti looks at Arjun, feeling a sense of dread. She knows what's coming next.

BOSS

(authoritatively)

I want you to deactivate Arjun, Avanti. Now.

Avanti feels like she's been punched in the stomach. She can't imagine a life without Arjun, bu he knows that she has no choice.

Avanti returns to her lab, where Arjun is waiting for her. He senses that something is wrong, an ooks at her with concern.

ARJUN

(worried)

Avanti, what's happened? You look upset.

AVANTI

(tearfully)

I... I have to deactivate you, Arjun. I have no choice
